Introducing Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation Nars’ first 16-hour foundation with unstoppable luminosity that lasts. In a few words: it is creamy, easy to blend, provides buildable coverage (again, on the "full", which is all I want in a concealer), and while it may seem a bit thick, I think it's the creaminess of the formula because it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. I loved it, and while it wasn't as much of a breakthrough as the foundation for me, I do think it's a very, very good concealer. I also tried out the infamous Radiant Creamy Concealer ($37 CAD - $30 USD) for the first time, if you can believe it (it was quickly followed by a second, third, fourth times and so on.). It does settle into my fine lines when I first put it on (pretty sure this is a law of nature), but it doesn't crease throughout the day. The formula doesn't break down on my combination skin, and while I do get shiny after several hours, it's nowhere near as much as I do with some other foundations. It lasts through extreme temperature changes, sweat (I wore it to the gym once, it didn't move). while I haven't tried it for 16 hours (who wears foundation for 16 hours?), I can honestly say that the lasting power is incredible. Overall I absolutely love this foundation and it is one I can trust to look good on my skin all day! If you love the radiant look, I definitely recommend giving this a go. If you have particularly oily skin, you may find it goes a little too dewy (though I don’t feel it is greasy), however I personally love how radiant and healthy this looks on my skin, specially after it has been on my skin for a few hours! Even though this foundation is definitely radiant and becomes more radiant through the day, it hasn’t ever broken up on me or moved around, it has remained looking amazing in my opinion! The NARS Natural Radiant foundation lasts really well on the skin. I love the way this foundation smooths the skin out making it look quite airbrushed – perhaps this is due to the fruit extracts within the formula.

It covers everything on my skin! I like to apply this with a brush to keep that coverage as full as possible, as I do think a sponge soaks this foundation up quite a lot since it has a thinner formula. However I think this thin formula really helps this foundation feel lightweight on the skin.ĭespite this lightweight feel, the Natural Radiant foundation provides great full coverage.
The formula of this is pretty thin and slightly runny – when I first saw this I was worried, as I often like thicker formulas more than thin ones. It has fast become one of my favourite foundations and I reach for it often when I want a natural but somewhat dewy/radiant look! Oh hell, blush too LOL But foundation is most certainly at the top of the list. The packaging is classic and beautiful – a glass bottle with a soft matte lid & pump.
